Vegan Cuts Snack Box + Beauty Box :: October Review

I gifted myself both the Vegan Cuts Snack Box and the Beauty Box last month. When I’m not traveling, the boxes are a fun way to discover new products that aren’t always available in stores near me. I’ve tried other subscription services and find Vegan Cuts to be the best for an interesting selection of 100% vegan products, free shipping to all U.S. states and hassle free customer service.

You can order the Snack Box or Beauty Box as a one-time gift or as a subscription for $19.95/month.

Smooze –  A flashback to my childhood! Remember these freeze, squeeze & eat type treats? This one was a pineapple coconut taste delight.

Runa Tea – My tastebuds are scarred for life from Red Bull, so I don’t normally try anything labeled as an energy drink. This sparkling tea is made from guayusa, a cousin of yerba mate, and finishes with a hint of sweetness. No weird after taste. 120mg caffeine per serving.

Crunchmaster – I topped these gluten-free crackers with the bonus Wild Garden hummus pack that was in the box but not listed on the contents card. Insta-snack!

Stash Tea – Spice Dragon spicy sweet caffeine-free chai with a strong cinnamon kick. I cook quinoa in the tea, then add dried fruit or nuts for a quick make-ahead breakfast.

Surf Sweets – Organic non-GMO peach flavored gummy rings. Some days the green smoothie wins, some days the candy monster wins.

Mediterranean Snacks – Gluten-free chips made from lentils, garbanzos and adzuki beans. The light, air crisp texture of these cracked pepper crisps made them very addictive.

Yum Earth– Best vegan sour jellybeans I’ve tasted. They’re made from real fruit juice, so technically, I’m getting some extra Vitamin C *wink wink*

Rescue Chocolate –  “The sweetest way to save a life!” Just one bite convinced me to buy these decadent vegan peanut butter crisp chocolates as holiday stocking stuffers/grab bag gifts . I get to feel extra warm and fuzzy since 100% of the net profits are donated to animal rescue organizations.

The October Snack Box was guest curated by The Vegan Zombie. Great picks plus bonus coupons!

Earth Science – Shampoo and Conditioner. I hoard sample size packets like these for when I travel.

Bare Bones – Rosewater + Tea Tree Facial Cleanser. Used the cleanser with my Clarisonic and my skin felt refreshed and clean. I give this product bonus points since it does not contain funky artificial fragrance, parabens or sodium laurel sulfate.

Concrete – Eye Shadow in Wicked. I sweep this color over my lid for a pop of metallic color. Great pigmentation. Coupon for 20%off your first order.

Meow Meow Tweet – Face + Body Tonic Geranium Basil. I can’t get enough of this fresh, sweet, herbaceous and slightly minty scent.

The All – Lip and cheek color in Dusky Rose. I found this product to be too dry to use on my lips, but it does give a nice hint of color on my cheeks.

Beauty Without Cruelty – Rosemary Mint Tea Tree Shampoo. This invigorating shampoo is like a Good Morning wake up call. Left my hair with tons of body.

Lotus Moon – Vitamin B Hydrating Gel. This was the one product I didn’t get to try before I wrote this post. I’ll save this for an at-home spa day.

  1. I really liked this month’s boxes, especially the Beauty one, and more particularly the cleanser.
